Your experience begins as you breathe in the natural beauty of the high desert and the spectacular views of Sedona’s Red Rock country and lower Oak Creek Valley, you relax into the peaceful rhythm of this tranquil enclave.

Select a room or suite in one of our two lovely, comfortable homes, surrounded by lawns, xeriscapes and manicured gardens. The themed rooms in each home speak of the heart of remarkable indigenous cultures.

Culture and Grounds
Eight different cultures are represented and brought to life through the ethnic décor, personally documented "family" photo albums, cultural artifacts, books, music and so much more.

Upper house and deck Consider the Upper House, with its panoramic views of Page Springs and Red Rocks. The home beckons you into the world of three indigenous tribes: the Chamulan and Lacandon Maya and the Bushmen of the Kalahari.

Maya Room CompositeEnter the Maya Suite and experience Chiapas, Mexico – vibrant and colorful. The authentic artifacts, gathered over several of Connie’s excursions to Chiapas, festoon the walls and furniture. The open photos albums document and bring the Mayan’s beautiful, simple culture to life.

Kalahari Room CompositionThe Kalahari Room will take you to the world of the Kalahari San Bushmen of Southern Africa, whose philosophy of unconditional love of life humbles the spirit, yet exalts their appreciation for a world in balance. See the pure joy in these exceptional people expressed in Andrew’s photographs, books, art and artifacts.

Lower House

Or stay in The Lower House. Its huge expanses of glass and colorful earth plaster walls bring the beauty of the southwest desert to your feet, where you experience the Hopi people in the Kokopelli/Hopi suite, as well as a Pacific island paradise in the Maui Room.

Hopi Suite

Step into the Kokopeli/Hopi Suite and experience the Hopi tribe of Northern Arizona, whose dedication to Mother Earth is lived in ceremony and a simple lifestyle that entreats balance and harmony for all humankind and our precious planet.

Maui Room

The Maui Room acknowledges the perfection within the world of the Hawaiian/Polynesian spirit blessed by the wondrous earthly and oceanic beauty of their environment.

Hand bound photographic books

See firsthand the collections from the travels of owners Connie and Andrew. Their reverence for indigenous people, ancient and modern, has taken them on a spiritual journey that transcends cultural boundaries.

In each room and in the common areas, their life's work comes to light. Indigenous "family albums", presented in hand-bound books of hand-pressed paper, created by the Maya in Chiapas, show the way of life of each tribe.
